Monday: 7 Iraqis Killed, 19 Wounded

At least seven Iraqis were killed and 19 more were wounded in today’s attacks. The toll from yesterday’s bombings in the capital rose to 160 dead.

A suicide bomber in Karbala killed four people and wounded 14 traveling through a checkpoint.

In Kirkuk, the body of a Kurdish kidnap victim was found. Ten suspects were detained. A 17-year-old student was kidnapped. U.S. forces released five detainees.

In Mosul, gunmen riding bicycles shot and killed an Iraqi Turkman. Two bombs were defused.

A civilian was wounded during a blast near Mosul in Bartala.

Four people were wounded in a blast in Fallujah.

Katyusha rockets were found in western Basra province.

An I.E.D. was discovered and defused in Ramadi.

Three suspects were arrested in Khanaqin.
