Iraq Daily Roundup: 11 Killed

At least 11 people were killed, and another seven were wounded:

Turkey announced the deaths of 10 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) during a bombing operation in Sinjar.

Gunmen killed a civilian in Muqdadiya.

In Abu Khamis, a bomb wounded four security members when they were reporting to the site of an attack at a brick factory. The factory was set on fire and gunmen fired on local villagers, but no other casualties were reported.

Old explosives in Mosul wounded two municipal workers.

A Peshmerga fighter was wounded when he came across a mine that exploded in Amedi. Authorities believe the mine was planted by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (P.K.K.) guerrillas.

Also, the number of casualties that occurred, when Turkish jets struck a clinic near Sinjar in Sikeniye, has been revised. Four healthcare were killed and another four were wounded. And, four Sinjar Resistance Units (Y.B.S.), who were providing security at the clinic were killed. The previous figure was 18 killed.
