At least five people were killed, and three were wounded in recent violence:
ISIS militants attacked a joint base in Rutba used by soldiers and Sunni tribal fighters. Two soldiers were killed, and two more were wounded. A tribal fighter was also killed. Security members killed one militant before the rest escaped.
Gunmen killed one man and wounded another as they left a Hammam al-Alil mosque.
