At least nine were killed, and two were wounded in recent violence:

In Baghdad, two bombs targeting a liquor store left one person dead and one injured.

One shepherd was killed, and another was wounded in a bombing in Garmiyan.

Airstrikes killed seven militants in Wadi al-Shay.

Also, riot police were deployed to al-Haboubi Square in Nasariya, where recent protests turned deadly.
