No Respite from Bomb Blasts in Iraq: 32 Killed, 65 Wounded

At least 32 were killed in continuing attacks throughout central and northern Iraq. Another 65 people were wounded.

In Baghdad, two bombs near a refreshments shop in Doura left eight dead and at least 17 wounded; another bomb left two more dead. Three worshippers were killed and nine more were wounded in a blast at a Saidiya mosque. In Nahrawan, a blast killed three people and wounded ten more. A sticky bomb killed a doctor and wounded a second person in Adhamiya. In Amiriya, a police officer was gunned down. In Camp Sara, a bomb wounded two people who work for a ministry.

A bomb killed three people and wounded six more in Madaen.

One person was killed and six more were wounded when a bomb exploded outside an Abu Ghraib mosque.

In Mosul, four I.E.D. blasts killed one policeman and wounded five others, including two civilians. A soldier was killed and two more were wounded in one of the blasts. A sticky bomb killed the driver of a car.

Three Sahwa members were killed and three more were wounded in an I.E.D. blast in Tarmiya.

Gunmen in Khalis killed a cleric and a relative outside a mosque.

A sticky bomb in Bartilla killed a Shabak mayor.

Gunmen attacked a regimental commander’s home in Ramadi and wounded two guards.

One gunman was killed and two Sahwa members were wounded at a Samarra checkpoint.
