29 Killed, 29 Wounded in Attacks Against Iraqi Police

At least 29 people were killed and 29 more wounded in mostly shootings and small bomb attack.

In Mosul, a bomb targeting police killed two of them and wounded six more. A policeman and a gunman were killed in a shootout. Gunmen killed a policeman. At least one more policeman was killed.

In Baghdad, an I.E.D. left one civilian dead and two more wounded. Security forces killed a suicide bomber and a gunman. An off-duty policeman was shot dead.

Four Sahwa members were shot dead in Jazira.

Three policemen were killed and three others were wounded in a blast in Falluja.

A suicide car bomber in Amiriyat al-Falluja left two policemen dead and three more wounded.

Gunmen killed a policeman and his wife during a drive-by shooting in Baiji.

In Adhaim, gunmen killed a Sahwa commander and his son.

One civilian was killed and five more were wounded when a car bomb exploded near a television station in Kirkuk.

Gunmen attacked an Awja checkpoint where they killed one civilian and wounded three others.

A roadside bomb in Alam left one policeman dead and four others wounded.

An officer was gunned down in Baquba.

In Latifiya, security forces killed a militant who was planting a bomb.

A car bomb injured a policeman at a Samarra market. At least two others were wounded in this or another bombing.
