In Mosul, gunmen killed five people in two separate locations. A sixth victim was shot dead elsewhere.

A bomb in Kanaan killed a woman and a child; another woman was wounded.

One person was killed and three more were wounded during shelling in Mahaweel.

A bomb planted at an Essouira farm killed one person and wounded three more when it explode.

In Falluja, gunmen killed a policeman and wounded another. A clash left one gunman dead and two policemen wounded .

Gunmen killed a young man in Zubayr. Apparently, the number of murders in Zubayr has been increasing.

A bomb in Baghdad killed a military intelligence officer.

In Baiji, two soldiers were wounded during an explosion.

A kidnapping victim was freed near Najaf.
