Baghdad Mosque Bombed As Attacks Leave 26 Killed

In Baghdad, a bomb at a Rashidiya mosque left seven dead, including a cleric, and 31 wounded as worshippers left after Friday prayers. A sticky bomb wounded a police captain in Amil.

Clashes in Mosul left nine policemen and four gunmen dead. Mortars wounded another seven policemen. An I.E.D. killed one policeman and wounded three others.

A car bomb killed four policemen and wounded three civilians near Ramadi.

A police captain was killed in an explosion in Baiji.

In Taji, three policemen were wounded in a blast.

A bomb wounded four people near a maternity hospital in Muqdadiya.
