Tally from Friday Bombing Races Higher; 44 Killed across Iraq in Fresh Attacks

As expected, the toll in Friday’s bombing in Khan Bani Saad climbed higher to 130 killed, but several people are still missing. The number of injured was raised to 170

At least 44 were killed and 12 were wounded in other violence. Due to the Eid holiday reports were slim on Satuday:

In Baghdad, a blast in the Doura neighborhood left four dead and seven wounded. Three were killed and 11 were wounded by an explosion in Rashidiya.

Seven members of one family were killed in a small arms attack against a policeman’s home in Mahmoudiya.

Gunmen wounded a policeman riding his motorcycle through Mussayab.

Thirty militants were killed in Mosul.
