52 Killed in Iraq Bombings and Executions

At least 52 were killed and 15 were wounded. Most of the victims were executed. One bomb attack, however, targeted pilgrims.

Officials in Zab said that 34 people were executed in Mosul, Qayara, and Shirqat. At least nine of the victims were security personnel.

In Balad, a suicide bomber killed eight pilgrims and wounded 16 more.

A Peshmerga member was executed in a video released by militants on Wednesday.

In Mosul, an anti-militant group claimed to have killed a militant official. Militants killed five soldiers and a provincial council member.

A suicide bomber was killed near the maternity hospital in Ramadi. Several militants were killed in an airstrike.
