No Let Up in Baghdad Blasts; 136 Killed in Iraq

At least 136 were killed and 22 were wounded across Iraq. Most of the dead were militants; however, bombers continued to rattle Baghdad.

In Baghdad, seven people were killed and 16 were wounded when a bomb exploded at a car repair shop. Another bomb killed three people and wounded six more.

Gunmen in Balad Ruz killed three civilians, including a muezzin.

A roadside bomb in Mosul killed six militants. Militants executed two local officials.

The body of a civilian was found near Abbara.

A bomb killed a policeman in Abu Karma.

In Garma, 58 militants were killed.

Twenty militants were killed in Tal Afar.

In Hardan, 18 militants were killed.

Fourteen militants were killed in al-Sijariya.

In Ramadi, security forces killed three snipers. The use of chlorine bombs was reported.

At least 38 militants were killed or wounded in Hawija.
