161 Killed across Iraq As Bombs Continue in Baghdad

At least 161 were killed and 12 were wounded.

Militants execute seven elders from the Abu Sakr tribe in Baiji. Fifteen militants were killed as troops advanced into the city.

In Baghdad, a double bombing wounded four people in Karrada. A policeman was killed and two more were wounded in a blast at Jisr Diyala. A bomb in Yusufiya wounded four soldiers.

Airstrikes in Ramadi left 35 militants dead. A number of militants were killed when troops stormed the maternity hospital. A suicide bomber was killed.

A bomb in Albu Khayal killed a militiaman and wounded two more.

Near Falluja, 12 militants were killed.

Six militants were killed in Bashir.

At least 83 militants were killed in airstrikes in Kirkuk, al-Dulab, Sinjar, Baiji and Garma.
