32 Killed, 63 Wounded in Iraq As Attacks Continue without Relief

At least 32 people were killed and 63 more were wounded in continuing violence. Mosul, by far, suffered the most casualties in today’s attacks.

A suicide bomber in Mosul killed eight people and wounded 25 more at a checkpoint. A civilian and four soldiers were killed in a blast that also wounded two civilians. A soldier was killed and two others were wounded in a separate blast. Gunmen killed two brothers. A roadside bomb wounded five policemen. Gunmen killed a police officer.

Three people were killed and seven more were wounded in a roadside bombing near a market in Abu Ghraib.

Three soldiers were killed and four more were wounded in a bombing in Wadi Sawaba.

In Baghdad, a sticky bomb killed a policeman. Another sticky bomb killed an employee of the Interior Ministry. Security forces killed an escapee from Abu Ghraib prison.

Gunmen killed two policemen in Falluja.

A civilian was wounded when a policeman’s home was blown up near Tikrit. Another bomb killed a civilian and wounded a policeman.

A bomb planted on a car killed a captain and wounded two civilians in Albu Ajeel.

A roadside bomb in Abu Saida left one soldier dead and four more wounded.

During a clash at a farm in Jazira, security forces killed an al-Qaeda leader and wounded another.

A bomb wounded a woman and two children when a bomb exploded at the gate of their Muqdadiya home.

In Riyadh, three policemen were wounded during clashes.

Two bombs in Adhaim wounded a policeman and a civilian.

A civilian was wounded during a bombing in Qatoon.
