More Baghdad Bloodshed: 47 Killed, 77 Wounded

In Baghdad, a suicide bomber entered a pool hall at a mall in Amiriya where he killed 32 people and wounded 65 others. At least two of the dead were children. The pool hall was situated in mall containing a coffee shop. Elsewhere in the capital, one policeman was killed and two others were wounded in the Bayaa district when gunmen opened fire on a foot patrol. Two men were killed while trying to plant a bomb in Zaafaraniya.

In Mosul, three soldiers were killed and five more were wounded in a roadside bombing. An al-Qaeda leader was killed during a raid. A roadside bomb wounded three policemen.

Two workers were wounded in Basra when they accidentally set off old explosives.

A sticky bomb killed a civilian in Amiriya.

In Amiriyat al-Falluja, a sticky bomb killed a civilian.

Clashes in Kirkuk left two al-Qaeda members killed.

A police officer was killed in Ghalbiya when a bomb exploded.

Two men were killed as they were planting a bomb near Samarra.
