Seven Killed in Iraq Violence

At least seven Iraqis were killed and 15 more were wounded in new violence.

A roadside bomb in Saidiya killed one soldier and wounded another. When their companions went to help them, a second bomb exploded, killing another two soldiers and wounding a fifth. Separately, three guards were wounded in an attack on a political office.

Two people were wounded when explosives blasted their Tahreer home.

In Baghdad, a roadside bomb wounded two people in Suleikh. A bomb in Adhamiya last night killed a lawyer.

A bomb in Mosul killed a soldier and wounded another along with a policeman.

Gunmen in Hilla killed a lawyer. No casualties were reported after insurgents and police exchanged gunfire in a separate incident.

In Bab al-Darb, gunmen wounded two civilians.

An I.E.D. blast wounded three people in Jalawla.

A Sahwa member was gunned down in Mafraq.
