119 Killed in Iraq As Airstrikes Continue

At least 119 people were killed and 31 more were wounded, mostly in airstrikes. There were more reports of casualties but no solid numbers were given in them.

In Baghdad, a car bomb in the Shula district left seven dead and at least 11 more wounded.

Iraqi forces say they have killed several militants during a failed attempt to claim the refinery near Baiji. At least 35 were killed.

A suicide bomber struck at a bridge in al-Baghdadi, killing four tribal fighters and wounding three more.

An Iraqi fighter mistakenly bombed an army base in north Hilla province, killing two soldiers and wounded six more.

In Jalawla, a roadside bomb killed three Peshmerga members and wounded five more. Mortars killed two civilians. A Shi’ite mosque was blown up.

An airstrike in Dujail killed 50 militants.

Ten militants were killed in Jurf al-Sakhar.

In Mosul, gunmen killed an Islamic State militant. An airstrike killed two militants and wounded six more.

An army helicopter bombed and killed two militants in Adhaim.

Militants were killed during airstrikes in Yusufiya.
