Bombers Attack Another Funeral; 39 Killed, 46 Wounded Across Iraq

A double bombing at the Abu Idris shrine in Baquba left 12 dead and about 18 more wounded. An I.E.D. killed two policemen and wounded two more. A sticky bomb killed an employee of the defense ministry.

Seven men were killed early today in Abbara. When their families took them to a ritual-bathing hall, a bomb exploded and killed six of them, including two women.

In Baghdad, a bomb killed one person and wounded five more at a market in Shabb. Four people were wounded in a bombing in Amiriya. A sticky bomb killed a traffic officer.

A policeman was shot dead and two more were wounded in Ramadi.

Three policemen were killed during a bombing in Baaj that left another wounded.

An I.E.D. in Qayara killed three soldiers and wounded five more.

In Mosul, gunmen killed a lawyer. A bomb near an electoral center wounded two policemen. A bomb targeting a police official wounded him and four policemen.

Gunmen killed a soldier and wounded two more in Qaim.
