Shooting Spree Targets Baghdad Liquor Stores; 21 Killed, 36 Wounded Across Iraq

In Baghdad, gunmen killed nine people and wounded six more during a shooting spree near liquor stores in Waziriya. A bomb in Doura left one dead and four wounded.

In Mosul, a market bombing left three dead and another 14 wounded.

Two people were killed and seven more were wounded in a blast in Mashahda.

Gunmen in Ramadi killed two friends; one was the son of a Sahwa leader; mortar shells landed on the leader’s home as well. A policeman was shot dead at a checkpoint. Another small arms attack left one policeman dead and another wounded.

In Baquba, gunmen killed two people in separate attacks.

A sticky bomb on a car in Falluja critically wounded two people.

A bomb near Baquba wounded a Sahwa member and his companion.
