Iraq: Three families bear brunt of today’s violence

At least nine Iraqis were killed and two more were wounded in just three reported attacks, none of them in Baghdad. Over 100 were killed or injured in a spate of attacks in the capital just yesterday.

In Mosul, gunmen killed four members of the same family.

Two male family members were killed and two female relatives were wounded in a machine gun attack at their Khanaqin home.

An attack in Baquba left three more dead, all from the same family.
