Saturday: 1 Iraqi Killed, 3 Wounded

As happened last week, a violent prayer day was followed by relative peace. Only one Iraqi was reported killed today and three more were wounded.

In Baghdad, a bomb in the Amil neighborhood left two wounded civilians. A pair of bombs only left material damage to homes in Zuhour.

In Mosul, gunmen killed a policeman at a checkpoint in Tanak.

Gunmen wounded a policeman in Kirkuk.

In Souk al-Shyoukh, seven Katyusha rockets were discovered and confiscated.

Ramadi police discovered a buried cache of TNT.

Five suspects were arrested in Suwayra.

Four suspects were detained in Khalidiya.

One Turkish soldier was killed and another was wounded during a clash with Kurdistan Workers party rebels in southeastern Turkey.
